She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Layne (Jeffrey) and Tina Raikes-Proffitt; her grandchildren, Brandy Spann (Matthew), Timothy Layne (Dani), Anya Brown (Cameron), Tiffany Smith (Will) and Jeremy Tyler Jones; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Layne, Cyrus Brown, Hazel Smith, Marissa Spann, Layne Smith, Malia Spann and Charlie Layne.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (3801 Beulah Rd, Richmond, VA 23237). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
