She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel D. Dixon; her son Larry Dixon; and her parents, Thelma Wake and Pernell Wake. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Redmon (George), Bessie Banks (Frank), Beverly Bacote (Dexter), Anthony (Queen), Marvin, Pernell (Robin) and Myron Dixon; and her sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Elzena Wake. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.
