It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry August Berling of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Louise; and his brother Dick. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Dietrich (Kim), Kurt (Kelly), Karl (Melissa) and Henry (Page); his grandchildren, August (Whitney), Kelby, Haley, Grace, Anne Carson, Jackson, Hank, Claire, Stewart, Helga Elizabeth, Henry, Greta, George and Eleanor; and his great grandchildren, Beckett, Reeves and Rylee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benedictine Schools Educational Foundation, 12829 River Road, Richmond, Va. 23238.
