He was predeceased by: his son Richard Murray Massie (Mary Anne); his sister Ashley Lewis Massie; and his parents, Ashley Miller Massie and Henry Murray Massie. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Terry" Callahan Massie; his children, Jeannie Massie Japp (Johan), Ashley Massie Doyle (Patrick) and Henry Wiltshire Massie (Mary Michael); his grandchildren, Gracie, Ashley, Johan Japp, Gray, Wiltshire (Willie), Reilly Doyle, Morgan, Henry, Tommy, Archer Massie, Richard, Preston and Mary Brooks Massie; Deedee, Clint Greene, Elizabeth Bargatze, Thomas, Ross, Ryan, Austin Hooker, Olivia, Mac Bargatze and Clinton Greene.
