It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Joseph Beckstoffer Jr. of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Marie Simonpietri Beckstoffer and Herman Joseph Beckstoffer, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Eska Abbott Beckstoffer; his daughters, Nicole (Bubba Braswell) and Lori (Brandon Dyer); his siblings, Andy (Betty), Rose Adele Berry, Anne Marie Ajemian, Ronnie (Becky), Richard (Maggi), John (Robin) and Bobby (Pam); his brothers-in-law, John Abbott and Timothy Abbott; his daughters, Elizabeth Williams, Claudia Staples, Anne Marie Bixler and Stephanie Taylor; and also, Donna Abbott and Bonnie Walker. He is also survived by 28 nieces/nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, in Herman's name, be made to The Benedictine Schools of Richmond, 12829 River Road, Richmond, VA 23238, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Project or the charity of your choice.
