With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Hodges Yates of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Lester Hodges and Helen Goode Hodges. She is survived by: her husband Cedric Watkins Yates, Jr.; her sons, Cedric W. Yates, III (Lynn), Joseph L. Yates (Becky) and D. Matthew Yates (Judy); and her sister Phyllis Hudson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
