He was predeceased by: his father Morris Kaplan. He is survived by: his mother Hilda Kaplan; his brothers, Bart (Laurie) and Ron (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Stefanie Rubin (Matthew), Melody Dotson (Adam), Rachel Kaplan and Meyer Kaplan; and his great-nieces, Ella and Maya Dotson.
