With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoyt Hill of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Hoyt departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Hoyt. Though Hoyt may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carleen C. Hill; his son Robert A. Hill Sr.; and his granddaughter Jessica W. Hill. He is survived by: his daughter Wanda H. Thibault; and his grandchildren, Robert L. Hutchison Jr. (Stacy), Robert Hill Jr., Annette M. McCook (Christopher) and William W. Hill II (Erica). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
