He was predeceased by: his significant other Joyce Haggins. He is survived by: his children, Andrea Arreguin (Candido) of Lilburn, Marcus Haggins (Ashlie) of Chesterfield and Desiree Jones (Steve) of Champaign, Illinois; his brother Barksdale Haggins (Joyce); and his sister-in-law Mildred Haggins (Charles) of Detroit, Michigan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:45 AM. The lying in state will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (216 W Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23220). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
