He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Syed; his children, Jameel Syed (Desiree), Jesse and Priscilla Harris; his siblings, Terri Okumankama (Nana) and Lewis Hackett; and his brothers-in-law, Zakka Ali, David Hawkes, Yahya Alimin and Larry Hawkes (Tina). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220).
