He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. Mills and Belle Mills; his wife Judy; and his sister Betty Jean Elmore. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Goodman, Linda M. Allison (Jeff) and James "Doug" Mills (Cleve); his grandchildren, Renee Goodman, Terry Jo Brown (John) and Heather L. Allison; his great grandchildren, Candace M Brown (Tommy), Makayla R. Wall, Melody R. Wall and Mckinnly R. Wall; his nephew Phillip Elmore (Patty); and his pet Charlie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Future Farmers of America program at Patrick Henry High School.
