James left this world on June 5, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Clinton S. "Sonny" Salmon. He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie Salmon and Dawn Parrish; the mother of his children Donna Salmon; his grandchildren, Jacob McClung, Mya Epps, Courtney Parrish, Harold, Halle and Hazely Moxley; his mother Lucille Salmon; and his siblings, Clinton "Bubba" Salmon, Richard Salmon, Gayle Claytor, Judy Faris and Sharon Salmon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bellwood Community Center (9010 Quinnford Blvd, Richmond, VA 23237).
