He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Jay and William Jay. He is survived by: his wife Diane Jay of Richmond; his children, Andrew Jay (Heidi), Jennifer Beacham (Brad) of Lexington, Virginia and Leah Hicks (Joseph) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Jackson, Addie Jay, Miller, Peyton, Judson and Mary Jude; and his sisters, Carolyn Hoover and Patricia Ramsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
