He is survived by: his wife Sarah Houck Takacs; his sons, Thomas'Aiden'Takacs and Christian Price Takacs; his parents, Thomas Paul Takacs and Betty Dartnell Takacs; his grandmother Patricia Anne Takacs; his brother Christopher Travis Takacs (Kelsey); his mother-in-law Elizabeth Tweedy Houck; his siblings-in-law, Katherine Elizabeth Houck (Tom Neville), David Langhorne Houck (Bonnie), Heather Houck Harris (Chad) and Allison Houck Kahl (Jeremy); his nieces and nephews, Taylor Takacs, Lewis Takacs, Arden Takacs, Noé Mina of Liam Harris, A. J, Jude Harris, Andrea Houck, Isa Harris, Carson Kahl and Evan Kahl; and his pets, Wrigley and Daisy.
