She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas A. Herbert Sr.; and her daughter Dakota Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Herbert, Yvette Hayes (Paul), Karen Herbert-Gilliam, Douglas Herbert Jr. (Janelle) and Thomas Herbert (Alex); and her sister-in-law Bertha Johnson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
