He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie J. Hollis Sr. and Annie Lee Hollis; his daughter Betty Jean Hollis; and his siblings, Bobbie Jean Hollis and Clyde Hollis.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie E. Hollis; his daughter Dawn Hollis; and his stepchildren, Deborah Goodrich, Calvin Goodrich Sr., LaWanda Hill and Angela Virgo. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, six sisters, two brothers, one great-great-grandchild, a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
