John Augustus Blakemore Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 25, 2022, at the age of 93, John Augustus Blakemore of Richmond, Virginia, born in Emory, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Martha McCrary and Mary Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Eleanore Erna Wahrheit; his daughter Mary Gentner (Tommy); his grandchildren, Ty (Gabby), Blake, Riley and Wyatt; his siblings, Sarah Drummond, Frank Blakemore and Bill Blakemore; and his sister-in-law Lilo Splittgerber (Harold). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
