It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Charles Prine of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Charles Preine, Jr. (Prime) and Mary Lee Garthright; his stepfather James G. Kitchens; his son James Alexander Prine; and his sister Bethenia M. Abrams.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya M. Viola (Pat); his grandchildren, William (Andi), Michael, Martina, Mason, Macaela and Mileena; his brother Harry B. Preine; his brother-in-law Kenneth W. Abrams; and his friend Ariana Bracalente.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
