He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlotte Moltz Bogan and Forest Gilmore Bogan, Sr.; and his brother Forest Gilmore Bogan, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beverley "Beezy" Stokes Bogan; his son John Edgar Bogan, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Hope Carnahan Bogan; and his granddaughter Eva.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hollywood Cemetery (412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220).
