He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paton and Dorothy Paton; and his son Lee Paton. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Paton; his children, Stacey Kienle (Bob), Amanda Byers (Elliott) and Rick Paton (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Annie, Evan, Christopher, Sarah, Harrison, Holden, Hudson, John and Cooper.
