He was predeceased by: his father John S. Hurst, III; and his grandparents, Maggie and Major Akers. He is survived by: his daughter Alyson Saunders (Andrew); his grandchild Hailee; his mother Sylvia Hurst; his sister Deborah Norwood (John); his nephews, Russell Krupp (Ashley) and Craig Krupp (Amanda); and his grandson Ryan. He is also survived by great-nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
