He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judi Goodridge; his children, John and Lisa; his son-in-law Patrick Connole; his grandchildren, John Paul "JP" and Julia; his parents, U. S. Navy Lt and John Joseph Reid; and his friends, Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, Richmond Mayor Tom Bliley and Boyd Marcus.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be considered for the Alpha-1 Foundation to research and cure genetic lung diseases.
