He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Stemper, (Susie) and John Stemper, Sr.; his siblings, Andrew Stemper, Joan Stemper and Margaret McGlynn; and his grandson Weber Bjerklie.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Weber; his children, Barry Stemper (Margaret) of South Deerfield, MA, Becky Stemper (Robert Alexander) of Houston, TX, John Stemper (Laura Belle) of Harrisonburg, VA, Sherry Stemper of Bridgeport, CT and Stephen Stemper (Daisy Zuasola) of Chesterfield, VA.; his grandchildren, Simone Stemper (Ryan Freeze), Michela Stemper, Désirée Alexander (Alexander Youssefian), Petra Alexander (Andrew Acconzo), Emily, Austin Stemper and Isaac Bjerklie; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Liam Layton; and his sister Mary Mosso (Susan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
