He is survived by: his wife Leslie Thompson Brockman; his children, Leslie Harrison Brockman and Joseph Lanier Brockman, Jr. (Jean Reynolds Brockman); and his grandchildren, Joseph Lanier Brockman III, Robert Harrison Brockman and Ann Austin Brockman.
