He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Fredrich; and his son Joseph S. Fredrich Jr. (Jojo). He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Marie Vaughan and Bettie Jo Swinson; his grandchildren, Matthew Fredrich, Amy Jarvis (Russ Jarvis), James Childress (Melissa Childress), Courtney Vaughan, Erin Morse (Ricky Morse) and Jessica Swinson; and his great grandchildren, Callie, Keagan, Loran, Will, Mason, Benton, Abigail, Carter and Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234).
