She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cooper and Louella Cooper; and her spouse Figurs Lowe. She is survived by: her children, Milton, Melvin, Calvin, Alvin Lowe, Brenda Phillips, Belinda Barard (Steve), Lisa Walls and Charlene Lambert; her sisters, Rosalee Clarke, Lillian Lowe and Arnelia Ward; her grandchildren, Brian, Marcus, Crystal Barard, Natasha Lowe, Audrey Phillips, Kaiela Clarke, Dr. Brittany Walls, Dr. Taylor Walls, Jermaine Davis, Jasha Hawkins, Latavia Lowe and CheNeice Jones; her stepdaughter Elsie Smith; and her daughter-in-law Renaldo McDonald. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mimms Funeral Home (1827 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Baptist Church (1127 N 28th St, Richmond, VA 23223).
