We announce the death of Kathleen Mary Kincaid of Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 78. Kathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Kathleen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Kathleen will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Kathleen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Viehl and Marion Viehl. She is survived by: her siblings, Judy Bellman, Richard Viehl and Nancy Cozza; her children, Kelly Kincaid and Kevin; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Kincaid; her granddaughter Savannah; and her sister Kathy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel (1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ovation Chorus (select memorial gift and add a memo that states For Ovation in memory of Kathy Kincaid) or to the Forward Foundation, which helps bridge the gap for single working parents in Greater Richmond.
