He is survived by: his wife Vera; his children, Sonia Johnston (Bradford), Moses "Eddie" Pollard (Kristal), Ann Bolling, Lakeita Johnson, Rashika Wallace (Corey) and Keith Nelson, Jr.; his siblings, Juanita Richardson, Avis N. Mills and Wallace Nelson, Jr. (Theresa); his siblings-in-law, Christine Nelson, Delina Phillips (Amos), Carmen Alexander (Kevin), Rose Fauntleroy, Gilbert Holmes (Betty), Wilbert Holmes (Renia), James Holmes and Terry Blake; his aunts and uncles, Amanda Cuffey, Carolyn Fowlkes, Glen Lewis, Sr., Theodore Nelson and Morris Nelson; and his friends, David Anderson Jr., Wilbert Thacker and Jerry Atkins. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
