He was predeceased by: his parents, Laymon Lewis Thomas, Sr. (Mary Lee Hall Thomas Adams) and Ken; his son Kenneth "Tony" Allen Thomas, Jr.; and his siblings, Bruce P. Thomas (Doris Adams), Charles E. Thomas, Laymon L. Thomas, Jr. (Mary Lee Strong) and Phyllis Grooms.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Inglesby Thomas; his daughter Sharon Thomas; his grandsons, Dylan and Hunter Clark; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth "Libbie" Critcher Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woody Funeral Home-Parham (1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Westhampton Memorial & Cremation Park (10000 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238).
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Ken's memory to the VCU Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
