He is survived by: his siblings, Parthenia Gibson Shields, Diana Gibson Garner and Mark DeWolf Gibson; his half-brother Charles Dana Gibson; his children, Sarah Gibson Wiley, Dana Gibson Longenderfer and Tanner Gibson Neibert; his grandchildren, Ella, Coleman, Sally Smith, Jack Longenderfer, DeWolf Longenderfer, Merritt, Lango, Clare Gibson, Parker and Keene Neibert; his wife Sara Riley Gibson; his stepchildren, Betsy Macon Dotterer, George Wilson Macon IV, Sara Dotterer, Townsend Dotterer and Mary Reagan Macon; his children-in-law, Jimmy Wiley, Mark Longenderfer, Steven Neibert and Suzie Gibson; Moultrie Dotterer and Molly Macon.
