He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Desper; and his parents, Charlene Mae Smith and Lloyd Woodrow Desper. He is survived by: his siblings, Cecelia Lepore (Frank), Lloyd Desper (Erma) and Dolores Settle (John); his children, Sharon Walters (Gordon), Dwight Desper, Wendy Desper and Nicholas Desper; his grandchildren, Amber Ho (Russell), Tommy Ho, Breanna, Trey, Alexandra, Nick and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Mei-Leigh, Raleigh, Trip, Harvey, Aiyden, Rhea and Athena.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bliley's-Chippenham (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
