He is survived by: his wife Deitra Mitchell; his sons, Chistopher Mitchell (Carleen) and Marc Mitchell (Dionne); his grandchildren, Nyla, Bryson, Morgan and Ella Mitchell; his brothers, Benjamin Mitchell (Olympia) and Michael Mitchel (Frances); his aunt Neva Sanders; and his brothers-in-law, Edward Conway (Deborah), Cordell Conway (Denise) and McKinley Meade. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
