She was predeceased by: her husband Mason W. Duke, Sr.; her parents, Clarence Solomon and Georgia Solomon; and her siblings, Charlotte Lewis and C. K. Solomon, II.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Taylor, Sandra Hahn (Michael), Anita Smart (Johnny), Ronald Shelton and John Duke (Tracy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Winns Baptist Church Children's Camp Scholarship Fund.
