It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois G. Keel (Richmond, Virginia), who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Blythe and Alma Garnett; her husband Paul "Bobby" L. Keel Sr.; her siblings, Vernon Garnett, Marion Garnett and Janice Easton; and her grandchildren, Monica Keel and Paul L. Keel III.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Keel-Moore, Kay Keel, Reverend Paul L. Keel, Jr. (Angela) and Keith Keel Sr. (Lysiane); her grandchildren, Jennifer Poke, Corinne Keel, Keith Keel Jr., Philip Keel and Robert Keel; her great grandchildren, Des, Cadence Morrison Hayes (Deshawn), Amya Washington and Le'Lamar Jones Jr.; her great great grandchildren, Bodhi Heyman and Bryson Morrison Hayes; and her sister-in-law Pauline Freelon (Morris). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Manning Funeral Home (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Manning Chapel (700 N 25th St, Richmond, VA 23223). A burial will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (3101 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223).
