She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Tinta and Maria Tinta; her husband Millard Davis Melancon; her siblings, Ernesto Tinta and Paola Tinta Vidic; and her son-in-law James Harrison White.

She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Melancon White. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Richmond Animal League, the Virginia Foundation for the Blind, or the charity of your choice.
