He is survived by: his wife Chieko; his daughter Joice; and his grandchildren, Sunna and Úlfur.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Deep Run Park Community Center (9900 Ridgefield Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23233). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Ridgefield Ballroom Deep Run Park Community Center (9900 Ridgefield Pkwy, Richmond, VA 23233).
