She was predeceased by: her parents, Winfield Smith and Chloe Smith; and her husband Silas Homer Adkins. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Bragg, David Adkins (Cindy), Donald Adkins (Lisa) and Connie McCutchen (Steve); and her brother Eddie Ray (Ted) of Lewisburg, WV.. She is also survived by one of fourteen siblings, and 9 half brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Varina Church of the Nazarene (5350 Darbytown Rd, Richmond, VA 23231). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
