She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Hicks; and her daughter Sandy Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Garrett (John), Donald Hicks (Sheila) and Jimmy Hicks (Cindy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Berea Baptist Church.
