We bid farewell to Mark Murrow Mason of Richmond, Virginia, born in Cleveland, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 22, 2025 at the age of 80. Mark Murrow touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Mason and Ruth Mason Ransome; and his sisters, Candace Mason and Cheryl Waclawski. He is survived by: his significant other Didina "Dee" Mason; his son John C. Mason (Sara); his grandchild Aria Mason; his sisters, Marilyn Fedelem (Richard) and Wendee Mason; and his sisters-in-law, Georgia Magliocchetti, Nadia DiCarlo and Anna Lazarchic. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (9505 Gayton Rd, Henrico, VA 23229). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (9505 Gayton Rd, Regency, VA 23229). A reception was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the James River Cellars Winery (11008 Washington Hwy, Glen Allen, VA 23059).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Folds of Honor Foundation.
