She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. George Richmond Trotter; her daughter Rosella Trotter Long; and her siblings, John Nichols Wilson Jr., Mary Jayne Wilson Breeden, Elizabeth Wilson Anderson and Diana Leon Wilson.
She is survived by: her sons, Richmond Seay Trotter and Joel Hale Trotter. She is also survived by grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Woody's Funeral Home (Parham) (1771 N Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation (Resident Assistance Fund) in support of The Sylvestery.
