She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Galloway and Lois Galloway; and her siblings, Frank and Shirley. She is survived by: her husband Ira Helmick, Sr.; her children, Ira Helmick, Jr. (Chris), Carrie Robinson (Robbie) and Leslie Costell (Jimmy); her grandsons, Bradley Helmick (Katherine) and Matthew Robinson (Abbey); her stepgrandchildren, Samantha, Matthew and Sarah; and her brother Johnny Galloway. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
