With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Grace Gray of Richmond, Virginia, born in Beaverdam, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eugene Edwards and Etta Louise Edwards; her siblings, Earl Edwards, William Edwards and Laura Dale Waldren; and her daughter Karen Strong-Jimerson.
She is survived by: her husband John Gray Jr.; her son Bernard Strong, Jr.; her grandchildren, Tony Strong (Alexis), Amber Williams (Jason), Madison Roach (Chris) and Cameron Bailey; her great grandchildren, Kylie, Parker Williams, Riley, Axel Strong, Oaklynn and Austin Roach; and her siblings, Barbara Turner (Claude), Donald Edwards (Lydia), David Edwards (Christy), Kenneth Edwards, Mark Edwards (Tracy) and Scott Edwards (Lisa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Wesleyan Church (16360 Woodman Hall Rd, Montpelier, VA 23192).
