She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Ransone Sr.; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte (Bob), Carl Jr., Joseph (Mary), Lori and Eric (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Shannon (Steven), Erin (Matt), Tasja (Chris), Emily, Alex, Matthew, Victoria (Joseph), Courtney (Patrick), Tyler, Connor, Carl and Thomas; her great grandchildren, Alexia, Ryanna, Natalie, Bryleigh, Devyn and Elliott; and also Melanie.
In lieu of flowers, her chickadees kindly ask that donations be made to Massey Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Hospital, two organizations she frequently supported herself.
