She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Barnard of Alabama and Mary Dunklin Barnard of Alabama; and her brother Robert Dowling Barnard. She is survived by: her children, Mary Alston "Honey" Trigg Sachs (Lenny), William "Billy" Robertson Trigg (Susie), Susan Reid Trigg and Edward "Ned" Barnard Trigg (Leigh); her grandchildren, William, Landon (Annie), Lana (Kelsie), Mamie, Jack (Emily) and Emory; and her close friend Paul Hontz Gerber.

A graveside service at Hollywood Cemetery will take place on Monday, December 1 at 11 a.m. Those wishing to make memorial contributions in Toddy's honor may consider Capital Trees or the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
