He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Sydnor, Sherita King and Melvin Reese; his siblings, Faith Williams, Greselda Woody, Gail Singleton, Hilda Tune (Joseph), Susan Dickerson, Wanda Cupitt (Kevin), April Epps and Wayne Woody (Jan); his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Woody and Charlie Redd; and his close friend Sheila Sydnor. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
