He was predeceased by: his mother Jane Seese Rice. He is survived by: his son Steven Smith of Bethlehem; and his siblings, Gary Rice (Patricia) of Bethlehem, Sandra Rice Guthrie of Kansas and Teresa Rice Bridges. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
