Gilliam (Tia), Maurice Hayes (Biniqua) and Keeton Rooks; his brother Jonathan Hayes of Florida; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eddie Lee Hayes Jr. (Demetria), Sterling Hayes, Willene Atkins Bellamy (Terry) and Gilbert Stephens (Charmont); and his siblings-in-law, Helen Hayes, Rosa Lundy, Lillie Rooks, Tommy Rooks and Frank Rooks. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
