He was predeceased by: his wives, Thelma Fletcher Alvis and Catherine Cross Alvis; and his sisters, Ruby A. Elliott, Barbara A. Williams and Betty A. Sebra.
He is survived by: his sisters, Edith A. Carney (Frank) and Jean A. Duesing (Michael). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
