She was predeceased by: her parents, Frankie Pope Cooke and Alan Prieur Curdts. She is survived by: her husband Peyton; her children, Mason and Melinda Stump of Raleigh; her grandsons, Jamie Stump (Erica), David Stump and Samuel Stump; her great grandchild Layla Stump; and her caregivers, Owen, Thandi, Zuzu and Nancy.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hollywood Cemetery (412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks for memorial contributions to be made to Elijah House Academy in Richmond, Va.
