He is survived by: his wife Baheejah Bashir; his children, Marshae Bashir-Jones, Lozetta Ragland, Najah Bashir, Norman Charles Brooks III, Kevin Jerome Brooks and Jabril Bashir; his daughters-in-law, Sharon Brooks and Tressa Brooks; and his former wife Joyce W. Brookswho. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home (2011 Grayland Ave, Richmond, VA 23220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
